Our Impact

10 years of saving lives and mending broken hearts.

Since 2013, we have helped hundreds of low-income families with the cost of emergency veterinary care for their beloved cats and dogs, preventing unnecessary surrender or euthanasia.

The difference we made last year.

$115,219.07

Veterinary Care Cost

In 2023, we paid $115,219.07 to 66 veterinary care facilities that provided urgent and life-saving veterinary care and support for needy pets.

65

Cases Completed

Last year, our aid reached 65 pets, including 53 cats and 12 dogs. We helped low-income families with pets across 28 states.

100%

Donor Funded

Our work is completely funded by our supporters. These success stories were only possible because of the kind and generous donors who believe in our mission.

Since 2021, we've seen a significant 46% increase in pet cases, and this need will only continue to grow.

Support Our Mission

β€œIt is an awful reality to have your fur baby sick by your side and you're late at night with many opened tabs: comparing vet costs, filling out for care credits, recalculating personal budgets and actually looking up the much-dreaded euthanasia. For The Love of Alex was on a list of nonprofits that I found, but it was the only organization who had let me know they could help.” β€” Moomoo’s Mom, NY
