Story

Finnian is one of those cats that makes himself right at home. In fact, that's how he found his home. He followed some dogs into their dog door and decided to stay. Ever since he's brought joy and laughter to his home. Until one day when he got sick. It wasn't clear exactly what he had, but his mom knew something was wrong.

She took him to the vet several times. The veterinarians couldn't find a cause for his change in personality. Each visit gave no answer and cost Finnian's mom a few hundred dollars. She contacted For The Love Of Alex when her funds dried up. Thanks to the support of donors like you, Finnian went to a specialist. He stayed in the hospital for several days and was tested for everything. After several false leads including major neurological concerns, he finally got his diagnosis.

They discovered that Finnian was suffering from a rare fungal infection. He has Cryptococcosis fungal disease. Thankfully it was discovered before it spread to his airways, where it would have killed him.

Finnian's story is a testament to the fact that pets are family and mom's know what is best for their kids. If not for Finnian's mother's determination and love, he would not have gotten the treatment he needed. If not for donations from Angels like you, he would not be alive today.

Finnian's Mom stopped in to say:

"It has been a year since Finn had his medical scare and we are so thankful that we still have that little goober here with us!  Thank You!!!"

THANK YOU, Donor-Angels for saving Finnian's life.
