#BettyWhiteChallenge urges everyone to support animals in their community

Betty White, who would have turned 100 this month, passed away on December 31st. The star was well known to generations of fans for her roles in “Life with Elizabeth,” “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” “The Golden Girls,” and “Hot in Cleveland,” among many other television shows and movies.

White was a pioneering animal rights activist for decades, dedicating much of her time to saving endangered species and improving conditions for animals at Los Angeles Zoo. She will be greatly missed.
