As we head into the 2020 holiday season, things are stranger than they've been in my lifetime. Something that I find helpful is focusing energy on where I can make an immediate difference. With so many pets in need, it's a gift to be able to give a large or small amount and know that it will join with contributions from other Angels to get the job done.
Every person I know wishes that they could adopt dozens of animals and give them all a good life in their home, but that isn't realistic; thankfully, families are willing to do the hard work and take care of a pet day in and day out. But sometimes, these pet owners face expensive veterinary emergencies. We can work together to help these families get their pets well and stay in a loving home.
We can change lives, like those of the pets listed below:
Loki, the cat, is a little kitten in a big world. He needs some friends to help him overcome a serious injury. Read more
Sally, the Minnesota kitten, needs some help to overcome a serious fracture that is robbing her of her spunk. Read more
Sugar Bear, whose name hints at how sweet he really is, was almost a throwaway dog. After avoiding euthanasia, he now faces a severe eye injury. Please look at adorable Sugar Bear and tell him that he is worth it. Read more
You can help Lucy, the cat, and her mom put an end to a debilitating infection, once and for all. Lucy’s mom lost her job due to the pandemic, and without help, Lucy will be lost. Read more
Thank you for caring about these cats and dogs. This holiday season, we are working on new ways to support this important mission and save cats and dogs' lives. Please think of For The Love Of Alex when planning your holiday gift exchanges and donations. Keep an eye out for ways to help!
Thanks again for being here. There is no For The Love Of Alex without YOU.
Please stay safe and give your pets a kiss from us.
Hugs and hope to you,
Alex and friends 🐾
P.S. If you are someone who can afford to make a donation right now, please donate today.
