TINY TIM NOT SO TINY ANYMORE!πŸ’™

We recently received a message from Tiny Tim's mom, whom we had helped in 2019. Tiny Tim was a very sick kitten with a life-threatening urinary blockage that had torn his urethra. His mom had spent all her savings and borrowed money for his emergency surgery and hospitalization. However, she still needed $2,000.00 to take him home. We helped with the bill, and Tiny Tim returned to his loving home. He fully recovered, and today, Tiny Tim is a happy and healthy 4-year-old.

Teenage Years

Here’s her story: β€œWe got a new kitten from the humane society, and everything was good for the first few weeks, but then he started becoming unable to go to the bathroom, and when he was able it was painful for him. We took him to the vet, and his bladder was enlarged, so he had exrays and there were no stones. when passing the catheter, the vet thought he might have growths in his urethra and recommended that we either put him down or take him to MedVet.

All grown up!

After an initial diagnosis of colitis, since the vets there felt nothing blocking their catheter and Tim was pooping jelly with his poo, they sent him home. In 2 days we had to bring him back. he was swelling so bad. Turns out he had divits in his urethra, and an extra pouch for more urine on his bladder. A urethral tear, many tests and a week long vet stay later, my total bills equaled almost half of my annual income. My carecredit is maxed out with all the tests and they expect you to pay to take your pet home. Without help from For The Love of Alex, we would not be able to take our kitten home. Even after paying 8k for him. I didn't have the rest of the bill. Thank you for helping us save my daughter's little kitten.”
